I remembered the eyewitness account of the Triangle Fire from seeing it on PBS. It went through my mind over and over while watching coverage of the WTC attacks. The quote where the author speaks of "learning a new sound" struck me most. I kept thinking that the world learned a new sound on Sept. 11. The choices of either burning to death or jumping were made again and again. There was even an account of a man and a woman holding hands while jumping. Thank you for you website. It really helped me as I dealt with the Sept 11 events. – Cecilia, Atlanta, GA   4 Nov 2001
