This is the 3-volume preliminary report of the investigation that resulted from the fire. It includes transcripts of testimonies of fire chiefs, union leaders, reformers, and factory workers (including Triangle workers) on safety and working conditions.

The investigation continued for several years, and encompassed a wide variety of factories and businesses across the state. Eventually, the commission produced 13 volumes of reports and recommendations, including the drafts of bills submitted for consideration to the New York State legislature.
